1. This website is owned by Scott Somerville herein after referred to as "Producer".
2. The copyright holder of all the images and video on this site is the Producer who was present at the time the images were recorded and conducted the interviews. No participant did not realise they were being recorded nor that such recording was being placed in an electronic retrieval system.
3. The participants featured in the clips were recorded by the Producer or persons acting under his authority during the years 1985 to present.
4. The interviews were recorded in good faith under five main conditions:
a) That the producer does not represent either the local authority or the government of the day.
b) That the producer does not represent any other media broadcasting in Scotland.
c) That the recordings would be made publically available in future business models at the discretion of the Producer.
d) That no participant received nor was to receive in future a fee for their involvment.
e) That any editing carried out by the Producer would remain faithful to the original recording.
6. The video archive is maintained in Scotland under Scottish Law.
7. Recorded in good faith it was never the intention of the Producer nor participants to cause any distress but if anyone knows of any reason why a participant should be removed either temporarily or permanently from the video archive this would need very careful consideration as all participants accepted their likeness would remain in the archive even after their death. In the first instance you should contact outputcontrol@dundeechannel.com
8. The Producer manages the archive in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and only essential information is retained in the archive to assist the future identification of any participant. Where this site may collect personal information it will be gathered and used only with the proper consent of the submitting individual or corporate body.
9. All persons with access to the archive have provided clear checks from Disclosure Scotland.
